About Doctopass

We're building the tool we'd want our own doctor to use.

Doctopass began with a simple frustration: physicians spend more time documenting care than delivering it. We set out to give that time back, without ever asking a doctor to trust a machine they can't see, question, or overrule.

Our mission

Give clinicians their attention back, and keep them in command of every decision.

The best clinical AI disappears into the work. It writes the note, checks the prescription, surfaces the history, and then steps back so the doctor can do the one thing no software should: care for the person in front of them.

Clinicians and engineers, in the same room.

Doctopass is built by people who've sat on both sides of the consultation, and who review every AI decision the way a doctor would.

The company

Doctopass, stated plainly.

What a doctor, a clinic group or a directory wants established before anything else.

Who builds it
Doctopass is medical practice management software built by DOCTOPASS SARL, a company registered in Tunisia and founded in 2026.
Where we are
The company is based in Tunis.
Data protection
Doctopass has filed its declaration with the INPDP, Tunisia's national authority for the protection of personal data.
Specialties
Doctopass ships dedicated clinical tooling for 20 medical specialties, each with its own note templates, calculators and AI behaviour.
Where it runs
Doctopass runs on the web, on iOS and Android, and as a desktop application. Offline consultation mode and the desktop application are part of the Premium plan.
Languages
The interface is trilingual — French, Arabic and English — and Arabic renders right to left on every screen.
What it costs
Plans start at 69 DT per doctor, per month, and every plan opens with a 14-day free trial. Patients are always free and unlimited.

Where we are today.

More than 30 practices and over 2,000 patients joined Doctopass within its first two months. We publish that as an order of magnitude rather than an exact count, because a figure that stays true as it grows is more use to you than one that has gone stale by the time you read it.

Why we built it

Built for this market, not adapted to it.

Most practice software available in Tunisia takes one of two shapes. Some of it is installed locally, which leaves the patient record sitting on the practitioner's own computer, backed up as often as somebody remembers to back it up and reachable from precisely one desk. The rest was designed for another market and adapted afterwards, so the language, the consultation flow and the paperwork were fitted to a practice that does not work the way a Tunisian one does.

Doctopass was built for this market from the start. Arabic and French are design languages here, not a translation layer added at the end, and the clinical flow was drawn from consultations that actually take place here.

What Doctopass does

The combination is the point.

Every capability below exists somewhere. What is uncommon is finding all of them on one patient record, in one workflow, from one vendor.

01

An ambient AI scribe: record the consultation and Doctopass returns a structured eight-section clinical report, which the doctor reads, edits and signs.

02

Arabic and French as native interfaces, with Arabic rendered right to left throughout, and English alongside them.

03

Twenty specialty modules, each with its own templates, clinical calculators and AI behaviour, on one shared medical record.

04

Cloud-hosted, with field-level encryption on the most sensitive fields and an audit log covering every read and every write.

05

Web, mobile and desktop, with an offline consultation mode that syncs automatically when the network returns.

06

A declaration filed with the INPDP, and personal identifiers removed from a prompt before it leaves Doctopass servers for AI processing.

The AI drafts, the doctor signs — the AI never signs.

What we believe

Five principles we don't compromise on.

01

The doctor decides

AI drafts; the physician signs. We will never ship a feature that finalizes clinical content on its own.

02

Privacy is architecture

PII redaction, field-level encryption, and audit logging aren't settings to switch on, they're how the system is built.

03

Calm over clever

Clinical software should reassure, not dazzle. We choose restraint, plain language, and quiet confidence every time.

04

Rooted, then global

We started with the local formulary, dinar pricing, and Arabic that reads right to left, and built to scale across borders and languages.

05

Built for everyone in the room

Doctors, secretaries, and patients, including older and lower-literacy users, all deserve software that works for them.

Come see what we've built.

Whether you're a solo physician or a hospital group, we'd love to show you Doctopass on your own work.
