Mobile is the primary computing surface for most of the world. Assuming a desktop designs for the past.
In much of the world, the first, and often only, computer a person owns is a phone. Software that treats mobile as an afterthought is building for a user who no longer exists.
Gartner's mobile-first guidance and connectivity data from bodies such as the GSMA show mobile as the dominant computing surface, especially across emerging markets that never went through a desktop era. For patients, the phone is the front door to care.
